Junior Offseason Programs
The Crusaders Rugby Club offers a number of offseason/indoor programs to help our athletes develop in the offseason. These programs have grown significantly in the past two years to incorporate more than 150 of our junior and minis athletes. To participate in these programs, register here.
Advanced Skills Program
The Crusaders Advanced Skills Program is a 16-week program offered to U14-U18 players, boys and girls. Primarily intended for backs, the program focuses on:
- core skills development (pass/catch)
- evasive skills
- finding and using space
- agility
and includes guest coach appearances by international players, university and national coaches.

Junior Strength & Conditioning Program
Offered in partnership with Sports Specific Training (SST), the Crusaders offseason strength and conditioning program is a 16-week offseason program offered to U14-U18 boys and girls to help develop power, strength and speed with certified Strength and Conditioning coaches. This program enables our athletes to develop strength in an age-appropriate, safe and effective manner, learn the mechanics of sprinting, acceleration, change of direction, jumping and strength-based exercises, and measure and gauge their progress.

- Agility

- Aerobic conditioning
- Fitness Testing (Pre- and Post-), to evaluate:
- Soft tissue work + Dynamic warm-up
- Core strength/awareness
- Power development
- Speed development
- Strength training
- Metabolic Conditioning
