The Crusaders Senior Rugby Program

Senior Men’s teams play in the Marshall Premiership and Niagara Leagues. Senior Women play in the Toronto Rugby Union league.

If you’re looking for fun, camaraderie, teamwork, leadership, training and fitness benefits, rugby is a great place to start.

With multiple senior men, women and youth teams there is a place for everyone, whatever your experience or skill level.

Crusaders Senior Men welcome all players 18 years and older. From the 1st XV, playing in the most competitive league in Ontario – the Marshall Premier Division, to the “Fab Fours” there is room for all!

Many, many of our players have gone on to represent our provincial and national teams so if you have ambition in the sport Crusaders Rugby Club is a great place to be.

The Crusaders Rugby Club has been growing the sport of rugby in the Mississauga, Oakville and surrounding communities for close to 50 years. The Club boasts a large three field facility bordered on one side by Joshua Creek, and 9th line on the other.

Looking out from the clubhouse deck, trees line the main pitch making an ideal arena for the sport we enjoy so much.

Members have the benefit of a full facility clubhouse with showers, change rooms, kitchen, bar and banquet hall. The large deck offers an excellent elevated view of the main pitch so spectators can enjoy refreshments whilst taking in the game.

Visiting Players: We welcome visiting players and players “trying the sport out”. A special 15 day registration is available. Players from out of Province or out of Country are always welcome.

Third XV

The 3rd XV play in the Toronto (Russell) League.

Training: Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30

Games: Saturday

Fourth XV – the “Fab Fours”

The Fourth XV, the “Fab Fours”, is a team composed of mostly retired First, Second and Third XV players, junior and mini coaches, and other ne’er-do-wells. The Fab Fours are known around the club for their snappy kit, generally questionable fashion sense, and enviable team spirit and team culture. The Fab Fours play many other club’s first, second and third teams – and despite they’re aged and ragged outward appearance, they’re a very competitive side. There’s a big social side to the Fab Fours and they’re by far and away the best hosts for visitors wanting a competitive match and a good after-match social.
