Crusaders Rugby Club Sponsorship Opportunities

The Crusaders Rugby Club is a not-for-profit organization that officially came into existence in 1968. Located on 9th Line in Oakville, the clubhouse sits in the middle of 26 acres of grounds including three rugby pitches and a training area.

Today, our Club has in excess of 700+ members with our members coming from across the Halton Region and beyond. Supporting all age groups, our Senior players include 100 men and 50 women, our Junior (Under 18) players include 300 boys and 50 girls, with our Mini’s (Under 11) being a mixed group of 230 players. Our players play in matches across the Province of Ontario.

Our Club has had a long history of focusing on player development. Numerous players who have come through the club and gone on to representative honours at both the Ontario and Team Canada level. To our players that play at the club level, our commitment to our players has proven to be very successful no matter how it is measured.

Supported solely by volunteers, our Club offers a rugby experience that is more affordable than most other sports. All members pay annual fees which are used primarily to provide insurance and medical coverage for the players and to cover dues to Rugby Canada and the Ontario Rugby Union. The operating expenses of our Club are covered primarily through the generosity of our members and sponsors.

How We Work with Our Sponsorship Partners

The club works with a few major sponsors in the context of multi-year agreements which we find are preferable to building a strong, mutually-beneficial partnership. The major sponsorship agreements are customized to the needs of each sponsor but typically include a package of kit sponsorship, signage sponsorship, specific program sponsorship, and other elements. We also work with signage sponsors under multi-year agreements.
