Minis Fall Programs

Crusaders Rugby Club is excited to launch our first-ever fall rugby program for kids aged 6–12! Running from September 6 through the end of October, this program is a fantastic way for both new and experienced players to stay active and develop their skills during the autumn months. Sessions are fun, fast-paced, and designed to build confidence while keeping kids engaged with age-appropriate rugby games and drills.

Minis Flag League – U8 & U10 (Birth Years 2016–2020)

7 outdoor sessions (Saturdays, September 6–October 25, 2025) focusing on developing core rugby skills: passing, catching, agility, evasion, and finding/using space — for boys and girls in a non-contact, flag rugby format.

• 7 x 1.5-hour outdoor sessions, Saturdays 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM 
• Where?: Crusaders Rugby Club, 2214 Ninth Line, Oakville ON
• Includes intramural matches to build game understanding
• Great for beginners wanting to try rugby and for players developing foundational skills
• Open to members and the general public
• Cost: $50 (includes insurance)

Introduction to Contact – U12 (Birth Years 2013-2015)

7 outdoor sessions (Saturdays, September 6–October 25, 2025) introducing children to contact rugby in a safe and progressive way. Players will learn safe tackling techniques alongside core rugby skills — passing, catching, agility, evasion, and using space.

• 7 x 1.5-hour outdoor sessions, Saturdays 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM 
• Where?: Crusaders Rugby Club, 2214 Ninth Line, Oakville ON
• Great for beginners wanting to try contact rugby and for developing players building toward competitive play
• Open to existing members and the general public
• Cost: $25 (excludes insurance – new members must purchase separately here: https://reg.sportlomo.com/club/canada/ontariorugby/crusadersrugbyclub, valid until April 30, 2026)

Session dates:

7 weeks: September 6, 13, 20, 27; October 4, 18, 25
(No sessions on Thanksgiving weekend – October 11)

In the event that a program doesn’t fill up, we may have to cancel and will provide full refunds. Unfortunately, we cannot offer partial refunds for missed sessions or provide discounts for partial attendance. Signing up is a commitment to the program duration, and sessions cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen events) will not be refunded.
